This announcement follows a recent investigation by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), which has raised concerns regarding the functionality of Tesla’s door handles. While von Holzhausen did not disclose the exact timeline for the redesign, it is clear that safety is a priority for Tesla.
