Amazon’s Alexa+ Reaches 100,000 Users, CEO Announces

The company aims to improve the accuracy of its web-browsing agent, which powers Alexa+, to 90%.

In comparison to Amazon’s progress, the rollout of Apple’s new AI-enhanced Siri has faced delays. During a concurrent earnings call, Apple CEO Tim Cook mentioned that the company requires additional time to finalize their updates, highlighting the challenges both companies face in advancing their digital assistant technologies.

As both Amazon and Apple strive to enhance their legacy digital assistants with generative AI, they have encountered various obstacles.
