We are thrilled to unveil a new opportunity for aspiring AI professionals: a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence (MS-AI) offered by the University of Colorado Boulder. This program represents the university’s fifth degree available through an online learning platform, making advanced education more accessible than ever.
As the demand for skilled AI professionals continues to surge, this master’s program equips individuals with the knowledge and credentials necessary to excel in a competitive job landscape. Recent studies indicate that nearly one in four technology positions in the U.S. now require expertise in artificial intelligence, with these roles often commanding salaries that are significantly higher than average.
“In an era where intelligent systems are becoming integral to various industries, having a solid foundation in AI is crucial for those looking to lead rather than follow. This master’s program will empower students to create ethical and responsible machine learning solutions that can be applied across diverse sectors, from healthcare to finance and beyond. It’s not just about acquiring technical skills; it’s about a commitment to developing AI that enhances human capabilities,” stated Kevin Gifford, Faculty Director for the MS-AI/MS-CS programs.
The MS-AI program is specifically designed for working professionals, emphasizing accessibility, flexibility, and practical learning:
Accessibility
- Open to anyone with a solid foundation in computer science, this program does not require a bachelor’s degree or formal application process. Prospective students can gain entry by enrolling and achieving a grade of B or higher in an introductory pathway consisting of three courses in machine learning or statistical learning.
- The total cost of the degree is $15,750, with all programs from the University of Colorado Boulder on this platform priced at approximately $20,000 or less.
Flexibility
Job-Relevant Learning
- The curriculum is interdisciplinary, merging elements of computer science, data science, engineering, and ethics, ensuring that students not only gain technical expertise but also understand the social implications of their work.
- Students will delve into essential AI concepts such as neural networks, deep learning, and reinforcement learning, while also developing the mathematical skills necessary to create and refine scalable machine learning models.
- Graduates will be well-prepared for high-demand roles such as Chief AI Officer, AI Manager, or AI Engineer, with opportunities to specialize further through electives in areas like natural language processing, computer vision, and robotics.
We are proud to collaborate with the University of Colorado Boulder, a leader in performance-based admissions, to eliminate barriers and broaden access for those eager to influence the future of technology.
Enrollment for the MS-AI program opens on August 20, with classes commencing on August 25. For more information or to begin the enrollment process, please visit the online platform.
